Meet The Committee

Tracy Paterson - Chairperson

Tracy set up our netball club in 2017 and volunteers to coach every week.. She is passionate about the club and loves playing and watching netball.

She loves to play Goal Shooter (GS) but can play any position on court and encourages members to do the same. .

Jacqueline Monk - Vice Chairperson

Jacquelyn is thoroughly enjoying every step of her netball journey. Having not played since being the reserve on the Primary School team, she was apprehensive about bouncing back to netball - but is now so glad she did. She will play in any position as she is simply happy to play netball! In her view, Wee County Warriors is a fun, welcoming environment where real netball skill can be developed, and friends can be made.

Isla Pryde - Secretary

Isla joined Wee County Warriors in February 2019 after a considerable gap, since last playing at high school level. Despite being nervous, she received a great welcome from Warrior team members and coach Tracy, and found them friendly, non-judgemental and motivational. She feels that Warriors are an inclusive club and players of all levels are encouraged to play and compete if they wish. Since joining, she has played in various positions but hasn’t quite found her niche. Isla joined the committee in 2019 to assist in promoting Wee County Warriors and to improve the health and social wellbeing through BBN of local players. She has taken on the role of Secretary in November 2020.

Isla Hogg - Treasurer

Isla Hogg is our Treasurer and looks after the finances. She used to play netball in her twenties and came back to playing in her forties, through Bounce Back to Netball, in 2017. She loves to play for fitness, fun and enjoys being part of our sociable, friendly team. Isla’s favourite positions are GS and GK.

Julie Johnstone - Membership Secretary

Having rediscovered a love of netball through walking netball, Julie stepped it up to BBN with Wee County Warriors. She loves the friendly, inclusive nature of the club, has made friends for life and rediscovered her zing after many years of just being mum to two boys (and now a crazy spaniel). The netball court (especially the shooting circle) is her happy place!
